We are proud to share that STAX has been named to the Thetius Top 150 list for 2025, recognizing the world’s most innovative organizations advancing the future of maritime.

Each year, Thetius, a leading maritime technology intelligence firm, highlights the pioneers driving meaningful progress in how the industry operates and evolves. The Thetius Top 150 is widely regarded as a benchmark for innovation across shipping, ports, and marine infrastructure.

“This year’s Thetius 150 report highlights the organizations pushing those boundaries, demonstrating that progress in maritime is not driven by technology alone but by vision, collaboration, and a willingness to rethink long-standing practices,” said Mark Warner, Global Client Marketing Director at Lloyd’s Register, in the report’s foreword.

For STAX, this recognition comes at a pivotal time. In 2025, we have continued to scale our emissions capture and control technology to ports across California and showcased the industry’s first integrated maritime emissions and carbon capture solution with our partner, Seabound. This summer, we received authorization from the California Air Resources Board to expand service to tankers, participated in a consortium that secured a $1.5 million government grant for our first major European emissions project, and announced plans to invest up to $50 million across UK ports.

These milestones underscore our commitment to tackling one of the maritime industry’s most urgent challenges: reducing emissions at scale. By delivering flexible, cost-effective technologies, we’re helping ports and vessel operators meet today’s regulatory requirements, and accelerating a clean-air future for coastal communities worldwide.

Being named to the Thetius Top 150 is a testament to the vision and persistence of our team and partners. We are honored to be recognized among the organizations shaping the future of maritime innovation. Learn more about the award.
